Sarah Charlop-Powers
Program Officer, Climate
As Program Officer, Climate at Three Cairns Group, Sarah brings more than 25 years of experience building organizations and initiatives in the environmental sector. She was the co-founder and executive director of the Natural Areas Conservancy, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing the care of urban natural areas in New York City and across the nation. Her previous experience includes working as a planner at Jonathan Rose Companies and as the Parks Manager at Scenic Hudson, as well as consulting for NYSERDA and the National Association of Urban Transportation Officials. She earned a BA in Economics from Binghamton University and a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment, where she was a Doris Duke Conservation Fellow.
