Tim Thomas

Tim brings more than 10 years of experience in relationship building, communication, organizing, and government to Three Cairns Group as a Special Projects Associate. He works directly with co-founder Lise Strickler and Managing Director Vivien Labaton to support research, writing, and administrative operations, as well as grantmaking and political giving coordination. Before coming to Three Cairns Group, Tim spent more than seven years as Chief of Staff to Assemblymember Daniel Rosenthal in the New York State Assembly. His previous work includes roles as a political consultant, campaign manager, and field organizer. Tim earned his BA in Philosophy and Psychology and his Master of Public Administration from the City University of New York, Baruch College.
