Steve Strongin

Steve applies more than four decades in economics, monetary policy and financial strategy to guide Three Cairns Group's initiatives as Senior Advisor for Climate. During almost 30 years at Goldman Sachs, Steve rose from Global Head of Strategy Research to Head of Global Investment Research to Senior Advisor and Senior Director. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Steve spent 12 years as the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago's Director of Monetary Policy Research and two years as an economist at the Center for the Study of Economy and State at the University of Chicago. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Northwestern University. He is now an Advisory Council Member for the Becker Friedman Institute for Economics and a Distinguished Visiting Professor at the Pardee RAND Graduate School.
